Why Purpose?

First, because everyone has a purpose.

Including you.

You have something unique within you.

A gift that only you can offer.

And deep down, you already know it.

You know you’re meant for something bigger.

Even if you’re unsure about exactly what it is,

or how to start, or where to begin.

You can’t seem to shake the feeling that something is missing, but you're feeling overwhelmed with all the questions, and

exhausted from spending your precious time, energy, and talents in activities that no longer fulfill you.

You may also feel a little guilty after hearing your own thoughts or friends say, “But, why? what more could you possibly want?”

Here’s the truth:

These feelings are a gift. They're a sign that you’re on the edge of aligning with your deeper purpose. Your inner wisdom is whispering (or yelling!) that change is needed.

That your life is meant to evolve into a new level of well-being, abundance, impact, and significance. A new way to flourish.

And when you don't pay attention to these signs, life will likely increase the volume. Or you'll end up experiencing events that will force you to take action.

Don't wait until that happens.

I know, because I waited too long.

I have been there.
I know what living without direction and authentic meaning is like.

After overcoming many difficulties as a young immigrant in the United States, I promised myself I would work hard, really hard, to be successful.

And I did.

I graduated as Valedictorian. Twice.

I received a full scholarship to go to college.

I got great jobs in Media and Entertainment in Washington D.C., Financial Services in Manhattan, and in Tech in Silicon Valley.

I obtained an MBA degree from a top Business School.

I was promoted many times and received raises, bonuses, and awards again and again.

I checked all the boxes of what I was told I needed to do to be happy. But I wasn't. â€‹Not only that, but I ended up burning out. Badly.

I know, firsthand, what it is like to feel that something is missing. â€‹It initially starts as discomfort, but then grows into frustration, lack of meaning, low motivation, uncertainty, anxiety, emptiness, sadness, confusion, and even depression...

The Sunday blues visiting at the start of every week, and the same old languishing sensation visiting at the end of each night.

And all of that is mixed with a strong desire for something bigger that would feel like a big YES within. A profound longing for clarity, meaning, alignment, and impact.

A deep desire for purpose.

And I also know, firsthand what it is like to live purposefully.

After reinventing myself, leaving the corporate world behind, along with other people's expectations and many unsupported beliefs, today, I DO know what it's like to feel fulfilled, motivated, excited to wake up each day, and clear about my true north.

It starts with

awareness

then clarity,

followed by direction,

meaning, fulfillment & joy,

and a strong desire to serve, have an impact, and leave a legacy.

That's why I'm passionate about sharing what has helped me along the path.  I believe, wholeheartedly, that every person deserves to thrive, not just survive each day.

And dedicate my life to see more and more people re-connect with their purpose and flourish.

In addition to my lived experience and my work with hundreds of people who've gone through a purpose reset, there is scientific evidence on the benefits of living purposefully.
Here are a few of the findings:

Purpose enhances lasting well-being. Unlike fleeting pleasure, purpose fuels eudaimonic well-being—the kind of happiness that comes from meaning, growth, and contribution. Research shows that engaging in meaningful activities triggers dopamine release, increasing motivation and creating a deeper sense of fulfillment or self-realization.

Purpose helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Studies indicate that having a sense of purpose is beneficial for mental health. People with a clear sense of purpose experience lower stress levels and reduced anxiety. On the other hand, a lack of meaning can contribute to feelings of emptiness, confusion, and even depression.

Purpose strengthens resilience. Life will inevitably bring obstacles. But when we care deeply about what we do—whether it’s a job, a cause, or a project—we’re better able to reframe setbacks and persist through difficulties. People with a strong sense of purpose recover more quickly from adversity and experience greater emotional resilience.

Purpose drives success. A clear sense of purpose helps us set and pursue meaningful goals, leading to a greater sense of accomplishment and life satisfaction. Purpose-driven individuals tend to be more motivated, persistent, and innovative, making them more likely to achieve their goals and receive higher rewards in their careers and personal lives.

Purpose improves physical health. Studies show that purpose can have a positive impact on our physiology as well. For instance, people with a strong sense of purpose have lower inflammatory markers, reducing the risk of chronic diseases. They’re also more likely to make healthy lifestyle choices, stick to fitness routines, and engage in preventative health behaviors.
